Round Cushion/Okragla Podusia

Chec na nia przyszla mi ok polnocy pewnego dnia;) ok, przymierzalam sie do zrobienia okraglej poduszki juz dlugo ale jakos sie nie skladalo zeby ja zrobic. 

Ostatnio skonczylam robic koc (niedlugo sie i nim pochwale!) i nie moglam patrzec jak resztka welny, ktora mi zostala, prosi sie o wykorzystanie;) i tak pewnej nocy (!) zaczelam w koncu robic moja podusie!

I started making this cushion at about midnight one day;) well ok, I planned to make a round cushion for a long time but for one reason or another it was not happening.

Recently I have finished making a blanket (will show it to you very shortly!) and I just couldn't watch how all that yarn leftovers are just lying there unused;) and so one night (!) I just started making my cushion!

Robilo sie ja bardzo szybko  - skonczylam ja w dwa dni (zaciecie bylo po mojej stronie;)) W trakcie robienia drugiej czesci podusi zorientowalam sie ze koncza mi sei dwa kolory i to bylo straszne (hehe)  - swiadomosc tego ze nie bede mogla jej od razu skonczyc byla przerazajaca hehe a nie bylo innej opcji jak poczekac na dostawe nowej welny. To to uczucie kiedy masz juz wizje ukonczonego projektu w glowie i determinacje a z braku srodkow nie mozesz go dokonczyc - straszne:)

It was a really quick make  - took me approx 2 days to make it (I was very determined;)) Halfway the second bit I've run out of a couple of shades though and it was heartbreaking (really lol) as I couldn't finish it when I wanted to and had to wait for new yarn delivery. Very heartbreaking especially if you are very determined and have the finished project idea in your head already:)

Mimo ze zrobilam ja odrobine mniejsza niz sam wklad i tak jest troche luzna ale i tak jestem zadowolona. Mysle ze sam wklad musi sie tez jeszcze troche wyrobic. A moze z czasem sprawie sobie troche wiekszy wklad i zobacze jak sie bedzie prezentowala.

Although I made it a bit smaller than the cushion pad itself the cover is tiny bit loose but I'm happy with it anyway. I guess the pad needs to adjust still. Perhaps in time I'll get myself a slightly bigger pad and see what it looks like then.

Jest super kolorowa i dodaje zycia mojej kanapie (tak jak chcialam). 

The cushion is very colourful and adds a lot of life to my sofa  (just as I wanted).

Zapina sie na guziczki i dodatkowo dorobilam jej ozdobny brzeg pod ktorym chowaja sie owe guziczki.

It has got button fastening and I also have added a scalloped edge for that extra decoration that also cover the buttons.

 

Tak sie sklada ze w Piaskownicy jest wlasnie poszewkowe wyzwanie rekoczynowe - zglaszam na nie moja podusie:)

Coincidentally, there is a cushion cover challenge going on over at Art-Piaskownica so I'm submitting my cushion there.

My Very Own Coasters/Podkladki Moje Wlasne

Moje wlasne bo w koncu zrobilam jakies dla siebie!

I say: my very own as I have finnaly made some for myself!

Niejeden taki oto zestaw robilam na zamowienie ale teraz przyszedl czas by dogodzic mojemu stolikowi i mojej herbatce:)

I've made more than one of these sets of coasters as orders but none of such for my own use until now. The time has come to spoil my coffee table a little bit :)

Zdjecie z Pinterest nie prowadzi w prosty sposob do oryginalnego posta niestety, ale udalo mi sie znalezc jego zrodlo. Jest tam tez tutorial gdybyscie mieli ochote wydziergac sobie takie podkladki!

The picture I have found on Pinterest doesn't take you to the original post easily unfortunatelly but I managed to locate it. There is also a nicely explained tutorial there if you were interested in making them for yourselves!

Merry Christmas / Wesolych Swiat

Znacie elfa polkowego? Dosc glosno o takim w internecie :)

Pare tygodni temu zostalam poproszona o wykonanie wlasnie takigo elfa co by troche radosci przyniosl przed Swietami i pilnowal czy dzieci sa grzeczne czy nie. Teraz jest juz w swoim domku ale chwilke siedzial na mojej polce:

A couple of days ago I was asked to make one to bring some cheer to the household before Christmas and check if the kids have been naughty or nice. He's now in his new home but have been sitting on my shelf for a little bit too: 

Do sporzadzenia Elfa pomogl me ten wzor udostepniony przez Jill Watt z Dapper Toad. Moj Elf nieco rozni sie od tego ze wzoru - dopasowalam wzor do swoich potrzeb, materialow i upodoban:) co o nim sadzicie? 

Mam nadzieje ze sie juz zadomowil w swoim nowym domku i jednak troche psoci ;)

This pattern by Jill Watt from Dapper Toad was very helpful in the making process. I have adjusted the original pattern a bit to suit my needs, materials and likes so he looks a bit different than the one from Jill's pattern. What do you think of him?

I hope he's happy in his new home and is actually a bit naughty there;)

Tym elfowym akcentem chcialabym zyczyc wszystkim Wesolych Swiat, wielu niespodzianek pod choinka (nawet jesli troche narozrabialiscie w ciagu roku;)) oraz Wspanialego Nowego Roku!!!! Oby byl mocno craftowy :D
