Bombka ze sznurka - tutorial / Thread ball tutorial

W jednym z poprzednich postow poproszono mnie o instrukcje przygotowania bombeczek z nitki/sznurka, takich jak TU. Postanowilam przygotowac maly tutorial, bo tak chyba najlatwiej pokazac. z gory przepraszam za jakosc zdjec, byly robione czarna noca ;)

In one of my previous posts I have been asked to explain how to make a thread ball, like that one. I decided to prepare a small tutorial, thought it would be the easier way to show all steps. Please forgive me for bad pictures quality, they were taken on a dark dark night ;)

Potrzebne beda / This is what you need:

• balony wodne / water balloons
• klej PVA / PVA glue
• nitka (np. kordonek albo mulina) / embroidery thread
• miseczka / a bowl
• lateksowe/gumowe rekawiczki / latex gloves
• papier (do zabezpieczenia powierzchni) - ja uzylam zwyklego papieru sniadaniowego / greaseproof paper or baking parchment (to secure the surface)

Nitke nalezy pociac na dogodnej dlugosci kawalki (nie za krotkie ale i nie za dlugie, zeby sie nie poplataly).

You need to cut the thread into pieces of the length that you need (not to short but also not to long, as they would get tangled)

Do miski nalac troche kleju i rozrzedzic go niewielka iloscia wody. Nastepnie nalezy zanuzyc nitki w kleju. Ja zanurzam kazda osobno zeby sie nie poplataly, ale oczywiscie mozecie zrobic tak jak Wam wygodnie :)

Put some glue into the bowl and mix it with a bit of water. Dip your threads in the mixture. I do it one by one to avoid them getting tangled, but you can do it the way works for you :)

Teraz zaczynamy obwiazywac/obtaczac nitka nadmuchany wczesniej balonik. Upewnijcie sie ze klej nie scieka mocno z nitki - nadmiar sciagnijcie delikatnie palcami.

Now it's time to do the ball by wrapping around the previously blown baloon with your thread. Make sure that the glue is not dripping a lot from your thread - take the excess off with your fingers.

Dodajac kolejna nitke, zacznijcie na laczeniach albo w miejscu, gdzie skonczyla sie poprzednia - nada to efekt ciaglosci.

When you add another thread, start where the previous ended or where the threads cross - to get the continuity effect.

Jak juz balonik bedzie caly owiniety, odlozcie go na papierze do wyschniecia (np na noc). Jak juz klej calkiem wyschnie, nalezy przebic balonik i delikatnie wyciagnac go spomiedzy nitek. Czasem, mocno przyklejony, kurczac sie moze probowac troche deformowac bombke - trzeba wtedy przebic w kilku miejscach lub 'pomoc' mu sie sie odkleic ;)

When you are finished wrapping your balloon, leave it on a paper to dry (e.g. overnight). When it's completely dry, pierce the balloon and gently take it out through the threads. If glued hard, it might start deforming your ball, pierce it then in several places or 'help' it unglue ;)
